"Night of the Spartan"
Sumner High School has a really great event planned for next Wednesday night @ 7:00pm.
It's called the "Night of the Spartan".
It's their 2nd annual Athletic Promotion Night and is a really great event. While you are not required to attend we strongly encourage it for both players and parents.
They will have some material designed specifically for you..... information about the move to 2A........
guest speakers....... breakout sessions for parents and players..... free giveaways and much, much more.

We have a great turn out for Spring Football Camp and it's great to see the boys out on the field again!
Spirit Packs are in and were handed out on Tuesday. We did hear that XL & M T-shirts are on back order. We should have them some time next week. Some sizes of girdles were also back ordered, don't know the estimated shipping date. Car Wash is this Saturday, rain or shine. All players not heading over to eastern Washington with Coach Ross are required to work a shift at the car wash. Attendance will be taken. The players will be told what shift they are scheduled for after practice on Friday. Shifts are: 9:30am to 1:00pm and 12:00pm to 3:30pm If your player has a specific shift he needs to work to accommodate your families schedule please have them talk to us on Friday.
Car Wash tickets were handed out to your player after practice on Tuesday. PLEASE encourage them to get out there and sell those tickets. 80% of what we make comes from pre-sale tickets.

Summer football camp will be @ EWU from June 26-30. Registration form will be handed out and emailed the first week of June.
Eligibility forms and cost:
ASB Cards are $35 and a District Athletic Participation fee is $25

Fundraising and Volunteers:
We try each season to limit our major fundraising events to three per season; the Car Wash, the Program, and the Food Card Blitz. The Car Wash and the Food Card Blitz are our two fundraiser's that the boys really do most of the work, only a few parents are needed to help organize.
